Assigning this package request to all packagers collectively. On a voluntary basis, one of them might, if there are no license or other legal issues, want to integrate it to the distribution and maintain it
for bug and security fixes.

Hello,
I have compiled it locally in Mageia 8.
I needed first https://github.com/signalapp/libsignal-protocol-c
to compile it I use the option -DCMAKE_POSITION_INDEPENDENT_CODE=ON
and used lib64protobuf-c-devel
Then, for compiling dino, I installed:
lib64glib2.0-devel 
lib64gee-devel
lib64gpgme-devel
lib64gcrypt-devel
lib64qrencode-devel
lib64soup-devel
vala-tools
This has been enough.

dino now impoted on Cauldron (mga8).
