Description of problem:
As summary.
Also manually changing the background to default and the folder view to 'Desktop' by using the path feature does not survive a re-boot. All reverts to a horrid "Next" background with a screen full of folders from /home/user/.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Mageia 7 Plasma which was a fully working Cauldron until release.
Using the same /home with Mageia 6 there is no issue.

This does not happen for all users. I have a test user who is little used and this is not affected.
Something has broken this in my main user - any ideas where in the plasma per-user configs this might be?
When the view is wrong the Desktop folder settings dialog says 'Desktop Folder' but it displays the home folder.
The only way to get back to the correct view is to use the "Custom location' option which works but is reverted on boot.

Users who have experienced this problem are encouraged to upgrade to the latest update of their distribution, and if this issue turns out to still be reproducible in the latest update, please reopen this bug with additional information.
