This does not happen for all users. I have a test user who is little used and this is not affected. Something has broken this in my main user - any ideas where in the plasma per-user configs this might be? When the view is wrong the Desktop folder settings dialog says 'Desktop Folder' but it displays the home folder. The only way to get back to the correct view is to use the "Custom location' option which works but is reverted on boot. [If there is a duplicate bug, I cannot find it.] I did not know what Barry means by "Next" background.. Assigning to neoclust for 'plasma-desktop'. Assignee:

Hi Lewis, this background is called 'Next' in the background image chooser.
This is what returns after a boot. :(
