Description Morgan Leijström 2019-07-27 00:34:03 CEST
Description of problem:

I (and probably other users too) would like have persistence and also another partition like NTFS or FAT32 for sharing files with i.e Microsoft systems.

So it would be nice to have next to the checkbox a slider and/or numeric display+input of persistence size and what is then left unused.

Optinally another checkmark to create a FAT32 of remaining space.

If there is time, dependign on ...

Bug 25191 - Live isos: LUKSOpen any encrypted partitions on the USB early, and handle LVM

... then further tricks are possible,
i.e radio buttons for the persistence part:

O normal
O encrypted
O encrypted LVM and inside it a persistence partition using half of it (easy for user then to extend it, and/or add swap, whatever)

( Related: It is a pity gparted today can not handle a stick with persistence, it erroneously display it all as one iso9660 partition :( . And diskdrake do not display it at all :( )
