Interesting. Have you tried the Appimage on Mageia? https://github.com/huxingyi/dust3d/releases/download/1.0.0-beta.21/dust3d-1.0.0-beta.21-x86_64.AppImage , https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Ways_to_install_programs#Appimage If the appimage works, i think our devs better put effort in other parts of Mageia :) Especially as it is still a beta. https://dust3d.org @kunda 1 You are having a field day with all these rendering & modelling software suggestions. They may all be very worthy, but Mageia's manpower is too overstretched to take on board everything. The standard suggestion: You might also want to join the packager team to maintain this piece of software: see https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Becoming_a_Mageia_Packager applies very much in your case, since you seem to be technically competent in your many package proposals. Please consider this. One cannot always leave things to others. ---------- Assigning this package request to all packagers collectively. On a voluntary basis, one of them might, if there are no license or other legal issues, want to integrate it to the distribution and maintain it for bug and security fixes. Summary:
