Description of problem:

After bug #25170, I installed afterstep-2.2.12-12.1.mga7 from core/updates_testing repository

I attempted to login to afterstep but after some code briefly appears and the afterstep wallpaper is visible for about a second, afterstep crashes and the user is sent back to LightDM.

See the attached file for the journalctl -b -1 command I ran after rebooting and connecting to IceWM.

Added some patches from upstream and Debian, please test afterstep-2.2.12-12.2.mga7 from core/updates_testing.

Latest one in core/updates_testing is now afterstep-2.2.12-12.3.mga7. It contains drakautologin fixes for bug 25170.

afterstep-2.2.12-12.3.mga7 installed and working correctly.

MGA7-64 on Lenovo B50 in Dutch
No installation issues.
Afterstep runs in English, writing this text now under afterstep, tried a card game and an odp file, all work correctly.
Good enough for me.
