Pristine media.cfg file
According to ddebug.log, it failed when reading the media.cfg file. Please check the file /x86_64/media/media_info/media.cfg on your installation medium (DVD or USB stick) is not corrupt. It should be identical to this attachment.
You should be able to mount the installation medium and browse the files.
The same USB flash drive didn't boot on my UEFI system. So it is most probably worn-out. I will test with a new one. @ Martin: Sorry that you had some extra work. Ulrich Status:
