Description of problem:keepassxc is supposed to be able to merge two keepasx3 databases. However when I tried to merge two databases, instead I got two separate databases in the one display when I opened keepassxc
(ie, in the initial menu I have
Internet
eMail
Backup
Internet
eMail
Backup

in the intial menu where the two "internets" are different sets of username/passwords.

This is not what I would call a "Merge"

Please report this to upstream, there's nothing we can do about it with packaging.

Upstream says "working as designed". Apparently there is a UUID attached to the entry groups, and if the UID are different on the two things groups in the two databases you want to merge, it refuses to merge them, and instead displays them both.

Sheesh.
Anyway, thenks. Nothing you can do. (NOt that I would call it invalid).
