Description of problem:

On updating my cauldron system today, I got the following message.

Creating: target|kernel|dracut args|basicmodules
remove-boot-splash: Format of /boot/initrd-5.1.6-desktop-1.mga7.img not recognized

On reinstalling kernel-desktop-5.1.6-1.mga7
with --replacepkgs there were no messages.

However if I did
sudo urpme kernel-desktop-5.1.6-1.mga7
and then did
sudo urpmi kernel-desktop-5.1.6-1.mga7

I again got the same statement as above.

I have not tried to reboot with 5.1.6 as I need this machine working.

urpmi

I have no idea if this is bad

Duplicate, the other report wasn't easy to find, because it was closed when you reported this issue.

Afaik it is a just a cosmetic issue.
