Description Martin Whitaker 2019-05-27 09:35:18 CEST
Splitting this out from bug 24309 to allow upgrades to work correctly.

As noted in bug 24767, libreoffice gets included in the priority upgrades, which means the choice of libreoffice-kf5 vs. libreoffice-x11 is made before meta-task is upgraded, so we need this fix in mga6.

Suggested Advisory
==================

Updated meta-task package makes the DE-agnostic libreoffice-x11 plugin the default choice when libreoffice is upgraded (rather than libreoffice-kf5). This avoids additional Plasma packages being installed on non-Plasma systems.

Package installed cleanly.

Tested by doing an upgrade of a 64-bit Xfce M6 system in Vbox, using the M7 RC CI Round 4 iso. The upgrade was successful, despite a script failure for mtink. (Bug 24674)

After the first boot I checked, and the libreoffice-kf5 package had not been installed.

I'm OKing this for 64-bit, and validating. Advisory in Comment 0.
