(In reply to w unruh from comment #0) > Description of problem: > The bugs.mageia.org My Bugs list seems to be randomly sorted, which makes it > really hard to find a particular bug if you have large number of such bugs > (eg I have about 30 of them). Sorting by number would at least allow you to > find the most recent ones. > > If you click on "ID", above the column with the bug numbers, then your bugs will be sorted by number. Any list of bugs you then create or open will then also be sorted by number. To switch between sorting from lowest => highest and highest => lowest number, just click on "ID" again. I do always wipe my cookies when I close Firefox, but if you don't wipe them, then most likely next time you login to Bugzilla, the list will be sorted as you prefer. Assigning to LpSolit, for him to decide whether this report can be closed (and to confirm or not what I wrote last) CC:

marja11, stormi-mageia The order is not random:
# DEFAULT
@order_columns = ("bug_status", "priority", "assigned_to", "bug_id");
So the bug status (NEW, ASSIGNED, RESOLVED, ...) is the primary key to sort buglists. If several bugs have the same status, then the priority is used, etc...CC:

sysadmin-bugs That that is the sort order is pretty obscure It makes for something that for 5 years to me has always looked random. I have also discovered that if you click on the titles at the head of the list (ID, Product, Comp, Assignee,..) then the entries are sorted according to that column. It would be helpful to the reader if something like "Sort Order" were placed near those titles to give the hint to the reader that one can change the sort order with those items. It's pretty common that clicking on a column title sorts the list accordingly. WAI Status:
