Updated Mageia 7 (b3) to the latest versions
Kernel: 5.1.0-desktop-1.mga7

Installed XFCE, and logged into.

Panel shows up without problems.
Checked whether to get into Panel-preferences, which went alright.

I also have never had a panel problem with Xfce under M7b3 or earlier.
@udham
- Are you using the Live ISO? Or Xfce installed from the Classic ISO?
- Is it up-to-date? Please check the following package versions which look relevant:
$ rpm -qa | grep xfce | sort
adwaita-xfce-theme-20190323-1.mga7
lib64xfce4panel1.0_4-4.13.4-4.mga7
lib64xfce4panel2.0_4-4.13.4-4.mga7
mageia-xfce-config-4.120.7.5-1.mga7
task-xfce-minimal-4.12-6.mga7
xfce4-panel-4.13.4-4.mga7
xfce4-session-4.13.1-5.mga7
xfce4-settings-4.13.5-2.mga7

These are from Xfce on the Classic ISO; I will check the Xfce Live.

Comment 5 udham sidhu 2019-05-07 16:49:24 CEST
Hi, I am not using the live-iso. It is installed one.
Comment 6 Lewis Smith 2019-05-07 20:28:24 CEST
I have just installed the latest M7beta3 Live Xfce x64 ISO, no panel problem.
After updating it, all the seemingly relevant Xfce package versions are as per comments 3 & 4. So the problem is not there.

> Hi, I am not using the live-iso. It is installed one.
Did you add Xfce to an existing installation? If so, what was that one - its origin, desktop[s]?
Or did you install it directly from the Classic ISO or Netinstall? If so, alone or with other desktops?
Also, can you say which Display Manager you are using (e.g. LightDM, SDDM)?
Comment 7 udham sidhu 2019-05-07 22:15:25 CEST
No I didn’t added xfce to any previous installations.I installed directly from USB iso

My DM is LightDM.

I tried GDM which is unresponsive.

And XDM works fine with panel displaying perfectly, but it shows up the login
screen repetitively.
Comment 10 udham sidhu 2019-05-08 08:56:29 CEST
I resolved the issue, as i'm using two displays.TV and the laptop broken_screen.

Settings for the second display , resolves the panel issue.

Thanks Sir.

Thank you Udham for persevering with this, and finding the solution for yourself.
You could have mentioned the dual display initially, since this is unusual.
