Please add a package for the gimp plugin "wavelet denoise" - it's a very useful plugin that provides a very good interface to remove color noise in digital photos.

Ubuntu. Debian and ArchLinux provide this plugin in the gimp-plugin-registry package, that includes a lot more useful plugins as well.

I'll put you in the cc of 2645, IIUC that package contains all the other gimp-plugins, so gimp-plugin-wavelet-denoise must be in it, too. Moreover, our gimp maintainer (Shlomi) seems interested in that package.

Reopening. 

Because of serious problems with gimp-plugin-registry, it'll be necessary to remove that package. The plan is to package the plugins that are in it seperately, so this one too.

wavelet denoise gimp plugin from now on is provided by gimp-plugin-wavelet-denoise package.
