Note that Cauldron is based on 1.5.4 release that has dropped python2 support.

Suggested advisory:

Updated python(2-3)-scipy packages improve compatibility and fixes bugs.

The python(2-3)-scipy is library is built to work with NumPy arrays, an
provides many user-friendly and efficient numerical routines such as
routines for numerical integration and optimization.

The python2-scipy and python3-scipy packages have been updated to version
1.2.2, which are the last in 1.2 series. They improve compatibility and
fixes bugs.

See upstream releasenotes.

MGA7_64 MATE on Peaq C1011
No installation issues.
Tried to follow the tests from bug 11555
$ python -c "import scipy.weave ; b=256 ; scipy.weave.inline('printf(\"%d\\\\n\",b);', ['b'], verbose=2)"
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<string>", line 1, in <module>
ImportError: No module named weave
And indeed, that module isn't listed anymore in the tutorial https://docs.scipy.org/doc/scipy/reference/tutorial/

I propose to OK this as most other developers stuff on clean install.
