There are some AMD Ryzen CPUs with buggy power saving. Owners of this CPUs for improving stability rebuilds Linux kernel with the CONFIG_RCU_NOCB_CPU option, which enabled by default in such distros as Fedora, RHEL/CentOS and Slackware-current.
