I'm pretty sure this would not be necessary if people read slide #2 and actually followed the steps recommended by the software... However, I agree that a warning should inform the user that (s)he needs to go back to slide #2, read the information given there, and then try again to install anything from slide #6... CC:

I am totally sure that people do not read what is not in front of them and even then, if it is not too long. Moreover, there is no reason to read slide 2 from the left before the fifth or sixth, it is precisely the principle of these screens presented as "cards" (it is even one of the effects of multimedia and IT on reading patterns... I think it's an inconsistency in the application panel and that the strength of IT is precisely that it "automatically" refers to the right information. But I agree that it's not a fundamental point, just a little finishing :) Hello, I have added a dialogue when repo is not enabled. Can you test with the release in Mageia8-beta1 which is coming? Hello, I have activated the repositories (including tainted) but in the application tab this is not taken into account: it asks me to go back to the "software repositories" tab, even for "core" software repositories. Yes, there is still a bug. Fix is coming. Before the winter. Release 2.03 is published in cauldron. Is it now OK? Fixed. Status:
