Description Martin Whitaker 2019-04-13 22:32:43 CEST
These warnings appear when xkbmap is run:

The XKEYBOARD keymap compiler (xkbcomp) reports:
  > Warning: Unsupported high keycode 372 for name <I372> ignored
  > X11 cannot support keycodes above 255.
  > This warning only shows for the first high keycode.
  > Internal error: Could not resolve keysym XF86MonBrightnessCycle

They are particularly annoying when running the classical installer, as they show up on the console and are visible when the installer terminates or when you switch to the console to look for other error messages, but they also appear in the logs on installed systems.

Assigning to all packagers collectively, since there is no registered maintainer for this package.
Also CC'ing some committers.
