Description of problem:
executing the tex command gives always a memory allocation error

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
it seems to be between .35 and .37 since this is only for cauldron.

always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. touch file.ins
2. tex file.ins
This is TeX, Version 3.1415926 (TeX Live 2010/Mageia)
fatal: memory exhausted (xmalloc of 18446744071586067984 bytes).
