What's the file size? If you use Gmail I think there's a size limit of 5 MB. CC:

hamnisdude And please don't change/erase the standard fields when opening a report. There's no way to tell which version of Thunderbird you have problems with. I do not know what it means to change the fields. What I mean in the bug, is to share a document that I have on the desktop, from the option of the contextual menu of plasma "Share" and then "Send by email". I think it's not a problem of Thunderbird, but of Plasma. When you open a new report you see this in the Details window: Description of problem: Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Please don't erase all of them as they are needed to make a valid report. Description of problem: I have a file on the desktop that I want to share via email, using the plasma sharing option. When the option is selected, Thunderbird opens but the attachment it had on the desktop does not appear. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Mageia 7 Beta 2, Plasma Kde 5.15.3, Thunderbird 60.6 How reproducible: In a file on the desktop, click with the right button. Select option "Share" and then "Send by email". Steps to Reproduce: 1.In a file on the desktop, click with the right button 2.Select option "Share" and then "Send by email" 3.The file should appear as an attachment in the default mail application. I hope I have explained the problem well so they can try and fix it. @ Kristoffer Thx for your help. I can confirm the issue, the file doesn't get auto-attached, but still has to be attached manually. Maybe this only works well with kmail? I can not share file by email =>
When selecting to share (by e-mail) a file on the Plasma desktop, the file doesn't get auto-attached to the new Thunderbird mail Hi, After installation of Mageia 7, and after applied the last updates, this function works correctly. I think if someone else can confirm this, we can close the bug. Regards!! I've tried put the name "Mozilla Thunderbird" in "System Preferences>Applications>Default applications>Email client", and reboot, this problem fixed. Greetings. Resolution:
