Can't recreate the problem here in a Mageia 7 x86_64 Plasma install. While no scrollbar is normally visible, placing the mouse cursor over the list and moving the wheel causes it to be displayed and moved. It then vanishes after about 3 seconds of no mouse wheel movement. May also be due to screen dimensions. What is the resolution set to? CC:

Here is the screenshot from Libreoffice 6.2.1.1. Yes, I was wrong about the scrollbar because there is none. But there are arrows at the top and the bottom and the edges of the dialog box are rounded. Furthermore I can scroll with the wheel (in fact with my two fingers on the mouse pad). With the package 6.2.1.2-1.mga7 scrolling doesn't work. There is really something wrong here.
Here, in libreoffice-6.2.1.2-1.mga7, using the Dutch interface and with Xfce as DE and SDDM as DM, scrolling through the languages in that dialogue works fine. I can also select a language by typing its name. Assigning to the registered maintainer of LibreOffice, anyway, in case he can reproduce the issue or figure out why it hits Béat. CC:

lists.jjorge It looks like the problem is only on my notebook. I removed the Libreoffice configuration directory and started with a fresh Libreoffice Writer. Everything worked fine. I could choose the language without problem. This means that the problem is in my configuration files. To fix this I will set up Libreoffice anew. I suggest to close this bug. I someone else encounters the same problem you can open this bug again. Thanks for your help! Béat Status:
