There's no registered maintainer for hdf5, but there is one for hdf5_10_10, so assigning to him. CC'ing the last one who pushed hdf5 in cauldron CC:

Both versions can coexist on Cauldron, but when one updates from mga6 to mga7 there are file conflicts as hdf5_10's lib pkgs are wrongly named and thus files are provided by a multiple pkgs. I will take a closer look to rename lib pkgs and check if something else is needed. CC:
