Hi Jose, This is rather strange because my main computer is also running this kernel and my virtual machines (Mageia 7 beta, and also other distros) have not been affected by this new kernel. $ uname -r 4.14.100-desktop-1.mga6 $ rpm -qa | grep virtualbox virtualbox-kernel-4.14.100-desktop-1.mga6-5.2.24-4.mga6 virtualbox-kernel-4.14.89-desktop-1.mga6-5.2.24-1.mga6 virtualbox-doc-5.2.24-1.mga6 virtualbox-5.2.24-1.mga6 virtualbox-kernel-desktop-latest-5.2.24-4.mga6 What were the instructions you are referring to? sebsweb This is what appears to me: $ uname -r 4.14.100-desktop-1.mga6 rpm -qa | grep virtualbox virtualbox-kernel-4.14.89-desktop-1.mga6-5.2.24-1.mga6 virtualbox-5.2.24-1.mga6 virtualbox-doc-5.2.24-1.mga6 I have seen that the package virtualbox-kernel-4.14.100-desktop-1.mga6-5.2.24-4.mga6 was missing. I do not know why he has not installed in the update. After installing everything works correctly. Thanks!!!! Resolution:

FIXED Glad I could help. I would also recommend installing virtualbox-kernel-desktop-latest-5.2.24-4.mga6 : this is the package that will make your system download and install the newest virtualbox-kernel everytime a new kernel is available. |
