jani.valimaa And what about: $ readlink /etc/localtime (In reply to Jani Välimaa from comment #8) > And what about: > > $ readlink /etc/localtime $ readlink /etc/localtime /usr/share/zoneinfo/Pacific/Auckland the mystery deepens (In reply to ben mcmonagle from comment #9) > (In reply to Jani Välimaa from comment #8) > > And what about: > > > > $ readlink /etc/localtime > > $ readlink /etc/localtime > /usr/share/zoneinfo/Pacific/Auckland > > the mystery deepens Not really. One can set whatever timezone from Orage panel applet settings and it's not really affected to system clock itself, but to the default timezone of the appointments created with Orage calendar. However, the logic how the default timezone is selected first time in settings is unclear. this is now ok: Mageia-7-beta2-Live-Xfce-i586.iso DATE.txt: Sat Feb 16 00:42:38 CET 2019 this is not: Mageia-7-beta2-Live-Xfce-x86_64.iso DATE.txt: Sat Feb 16 01:42:17 CET 2019 still valid for: Mageia-7-beta3-x86_64 DATE.txt: Fri Apr 12 01:15:06 CEST 2019

7final The bug is filed against cauldron. Orage was removed from cauldron (upcoming mga8) in June 2020. $ urpmq --obsoletes xfce4-panel orage[< 4.12.1-6] (In reply to Jani Välimaa from comment #14) > The bug is filed against cauldron. Orage was removed from cauldron (upcoming > mga8) in June 2020. > > $ urpmq --obsoletes xfce4-panel > orage[< 4.12.1-6] Let's close it, then, because changing Version: to 7 is useless, since already released ISOs can't be fixed.
