Description of problem:
KDE power manager applet displays correct battery level till the power profile is switched (e.g. from performance to powersave). After that the displayed battery level stays constant. Logging out makes it display correct battery level until the next change of power profile.

How reproducible:
Always. On a laptop.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set performance to power from AC and powersave to the battery power.
2. Check the battery level at current state.
3. Unplug AC if connected or connect the cable if running from a battery.

Maybe you can try the update of kde 4.6.5 in updates_testing
(see bug 2226 )

Component: Release (media, process) => RPM Packages
Source RPM: (none) => plasma-krunner-powerdevil

Strange, but today I was not able to reproduce that strange behavior. Seems that everything works well. I am sure I have neither updated nor installed anything since then... Still KDE 4.6.3.
Comment 3 Grigory Maksaev 2011-08-17 02:05:26 CEST
How should I update to KDE 4.6.5 - i.e. what package should I select to update in order to automatically install all new dependencies?

Closing as workforme since you're not able to reproduce.
