Description Stéphane Pontier 2019-01-21 13:40:24 CET
Description of problem:
Bacula-dir runs fine and when a backup is done, try to send an email but fail with the following message

  CMD=/usr/sbin/bsmtp -h sandalphon -f "(Bacula) <root@sandalphon>" -s "Bacula: Backup OK of azrael-fd Full" root@sandalphon
  ERR=Permission denied

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install bacula-dir
2. configure a backup
3. wait for the backup to be completed (using bconsole or bat)
4. journalctl -u bacula-dir and see the error message

I'm able to solve the problem by changing the ownership of the program:
  sudo chown bacula /usr/sbin/bsmtp
But I have to redo this change each time the bacula-dir package is updated.
