kernel Does kernel-desktop586 work for you ? CC:
(none) =>
tmb Oh. Not tested yet. Only tested "kernel-desktop" and "kernel-linus". I will try. Hm. "kernel-desktop586" seems to work without problems. What are the differences between the "kernel-desktop" from the 32-bit repositories and "kernel-desktop586"? The other question is how to select it while installing from 32-bit media? The desktop kernel now enables PAE so it can address all available RAM and to get PTI support. The installer should now detect missing pae support and default to desktop586. This was changed after beta1 isos, so only way to check it for now is to try a network install or try the upcoming beta2 isos Ok. Thanks for explaining. Closing this bugreport. Thanks. Status:
