Description Morgan Leijström 2018-12-23 01:57:15 CET
Description of problem:

It say: (translated by me from Swedish which I used)
"Remove diskette and/or CD and restart your computer."

1) Do we offer an installer that fits on a diskette?

2) It could mention DVD and USB stick.

Maybe write:

"Remove installer media ( i.e DVD or USB stick ) and restart your computer."

This needs someone to update the Swedish translation. The English message is

"Remove the boot media and press Enter to reboot."

Shouldn't that be "boot medium" instead of "boot media"?

Whatever the word, i find that sentence weird because the boot media is normally the hard disk... ;)

"the media you now booted on" is more correct, but maybe not clear?

We should call in a native english speaker here...

More simplified i would like to say "Remove the installer media"

Or simply put "Remove the installer (DVD / USB, etc)" is better understood by "normal" people?

Ah well, now i really feel i am making much of a tiny detail...

Medium is correct. And "Remove the installer medium" would be clearer.

Should be fixed in git for English, now.

The translation catalogue still needs to be updated (I forgot how to do that and don't have time to figure out how to do that, now), after which this string will be fuzzy in all languages, including in Swedish, which means the translators know they have to work on that string.

and thanks Morgan and Martin!!

Translation catalog is updated and pushed for revision by our translators.

Many thanks to those who helped to fix this bug.
