Hi.

I've tried with both i586 and x86_64 and neither can boot if either root or /home is encrypted.
My guess is that there is a package that is set to Recommends, but I've no idea where it is or what is missing.

Will now try with recommends enabled to see if my theory is correct.

It's probably cryptsetup.
But we already try to install it:

This is from an installation where I encrypted / formatted as xfs.

I was asked to provide the password, but it would not boot. It generated "rdsosreport.txt", but I'm unable, at the moment, to copy this file to a usb stick.

Will reboot and add "rd.debug" to grub and try with another usb stick to see if I'm able to make it work.

I tried to reproduce this bug with Mga7 beta 3 Classical Iso, and did not get even a complete installation.

Formatting the root device in expert mode with xfs and encryption always fails  with the message "cryptsetup failed".

There is a new device in the partition table, but it is not possible to open it with # cryptsetup open ...

NB: I had a working encrypted instance with Mga7 beta 2.
