I have discovered the commands to launch these, and have lumped the two applications (Documents & Photos) together since the fault seems to be common. $ gnome-documents (org.gnome.Documents:7767): Gjs-WARNING **: 21:16:17.990: JS ERROR: Error indexing the getting started PDF: GLib.Error tracker-miner-manager-error-quark: Filesystem miner is not active (org.gnome.Documents:7767): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: 21:16:18.238: Settings schema 'org.freedesktop.Tracker.Miner.Files' is not installed Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped) ----------------------------------- $ gnome-photos (org.gnome.Photos:7827): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: 21:16:43.670: Settings schema 'org.freedesktop.Tracker.Miner.Files' is not installed Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped) Summary:
