Description of problem:

I can't seem to find unclutter since mageia 5, I was able to download it from mageia 4 mirrors. Is there another package that can do the same that I don't know?

I also found hideaway that also seems to support wayland.
https://gitlab.com/interception/linux/plugins/hideaway

It is annoying to be typing and the pointer getting on the way, or watching netflix and the pointer on screen all the time unless I move it to the side.

Regards

I can't find an unclutter package anywhere... which mirror did you download it from?

"A plugin for Interception Tools to move the mouse pointer out of sight after a couple of seconds"

Did you compile it and does it do what you expect it to do, instead of only hiding it from those tools?

If you confirm that the interception plugin hideaway does exactly what you want it to do when watching netflix and when typing, then this package request can be assigned to our packagers.

If it doesn't, then you might want to ask for advice on a better solution in the forums or on discuss@ml.mageia.org. When you ask, please do also mention which Display Manager and Desktop environment you are using.

(Setting "Severity:" to "enhancement", as should be done with package requests.)
