Attachments: import dialog that never enables the add button

Description Christian Lohmaier 2018-10-26 12:08:27 CEST
Description of problem:
try to add a openvpn connection from a .ovpn file, you won't be able to proceed until you specify a private CA key, which the connection doesn't actually require.

The dialog doesn't give you any hint however that that would be required.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open gnome-settings, goto network
2. hit add button on vpn category, pick import from file
3. import dialog comes up with the settings as defined in the file, but add button is never enabled

see upstream bug for more details/fix/revert of the problematic commit

Created attachment 10428 [details]
import dialog that never enables the add button

and even if you specify a file for private key (e.g. the user key), it is not accepted/not stored.
When editing the connection after it has been added, it is again set to none, and to commit any edit you have to specify one again.
