Description of problem:
in my old notebook i have an airo wlan card.
this card doesn't support wpa, so i use ndiswrapper and it works fine.

every kernel update resets my wlan0 driver in /etc/modprobe.conf and breaks wlan.

Before: alias wlan0 ndiswrapper
After update: alias wlan0 airo

Add your configuration to a new file in /etc/modprobe.d/

for example /etc/modprobe.d/ndiswrapper-wlan.conf

With the contents:

blacklist airo
alias wlan0 ndiswrapper

And drakx* tools wont change it anymore

That's likely a bug in service_harddrake or harddrake::autoconf.

Do you have some relevant logs about this in /var/log/explanations after a kernel upgrade?
