From Bug 23685 :
" I want to use CryFS, PV show it is wrong version: cryfs: Wrong version installed. The required version is 0.9.6. But I do not or can find cryfs to install on Mga6 "

Searching for "cryfs" in package file names i find it only in the package plasma-vault-debuginfo; /usr/src/debug/plasma-vault-5.12.2/kded/engine/backends/cryfs

So please try to install package encfs and see if Plasma Vault use it successfully.

It seems cryfs will be ok for next release of Plasma.

Thanks for creating separate report for Cryfs. I have Encfs installed and did want to try Plasma Vault after reading about it. Encfs needs version 1.9.1.

I do not have specific needs but do use Encfs standlone.

In Cauldron for now cryfs was imported and plasma-vault recommends it!

Closing this bug now, cryfs is available since mga7.
