xdg-open looks for the command kde-open, but it's been renamed to kde-open5.
Can be fixed either by changing xdg-open or creating a symlink for kde-open.

[dave@x3 ~]$ xdg-open http://localhost
/usr/bin/xdg-open: line 627: kde-open: command not found
[dave@x3 ~]$ sudo ln -s /usr/bin/kde-open5 /usr/bin/kde-open
[dave@x3 ~]$ xdg-open http://localhost (starts the browser ok).

I haven't checked to see if the issue applies in cauldron.

Hi,
As of 2020-07-31, this bug is no longer reproduced in Mageia Cauldron.
In between, kde-cli-tools-5.12.2-1.mga6.src.rpm was updated.

There is no info in changelog for this bug.

$ xdg-open http://mageia.org

This opens Mageia website in Firefox under Plasma 5.19.4.
