Created attachment 10360 [details]
from "bug" during install
I was unable to access the report.bug from the original install from another system, so needed to rerun the install and run "bug" at the end of the install and write to USB.

What exactly do you mean with "unable to access the report.bug from the original install from another system"? Could you mount the partition you had installed to (/dev/sda9 for your last install) and see that the filesystem was correctly created, but that root/drakx/report.bug.xz was missing? Or could you not find the newly installed root partition? Or are you nearly as forgetful as me, and had you forgotten how to mount the partition at retrieve report.bug.xz from it? Or was it too corrupted to mount? Assignee:

isobuild s/partition at/partition and/ (In reply to Marja Van Waes from comment #2) > > Or are you nearly as forgetful as me, and had you forgotten how to mount the > partition at retrieve report.bug.xz from it? probably :) I can't see anything in the log to explain why install-grub2 failed to detect the kernel in the newly installed system. But there are a lot of other problems with that install, due to the package conflicts on the 6.1 ISOs. If you have time Ben, could you test if this also occurs with the netinstall ISO? CC:

mageia seems ok with netinstall non-free UEFI Thanks Ben. As we've abandoned the CI ISOs, I'll close this. Resolution:
