Request for a new RPM Package.

New Game: SDL PoP (SDL Prince of Persia)
Comment 1 Marja Van Waes 2018-08-30 20:35:58 CEST
Assigning this package request to all packagers collectively. On a voluntary basis, one of them might, if there are no license or other legal issues, want to integrate it to the distribution and maintain it for bug and security fixes.

You might also want to join the packager team to maintain this piece of software: see https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Becoming_a_Mageia_Packager

I'll have a look at this, I've actually compiled it a few days ago and need to send a patch upstream as they don't support Linux out of the box (compiles as if it were a Mac).

Not sure we can distribute it though, as it includes copyrighted game data, but I'll check the details.

Thank you Rémi and Marja.
I hope there will be no legal issues preventing us from distributing this game!

If you need someone to test your RPM file, you can count on me (I'm running Mageia 6 - 64bits).

I see there is a RPM package for OpenSuse tumbleweed, maybe this can help building our own rpm for Mageia :)
