stormi Hello Samuel, After the update package bluedevil I have a bluetooth device "ISSC-ISSCEDRBTA-btusb" and it works perfectly. Transfer PC to Phone and transfer Phone to PC $ rpm -qa | grep bluedevil lib64bluedevil1-1.9-0.mga1 bluedevil-1.1.1-1.mga1 $ cat /etc/release Mageia release 1 (Official) for x86_64 CC:

geiger.david68210 Thanks, now we need someone to test on an i586 system. (In reply to comment #1) > To those who have bluetooth devices : please test that bluedevil still works > well (no regression). Mikala : are there ways to test the bugfixes too ? for kde #277665 following upstream bug should allow to test that ( https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=277665 ) : - Set the alias for a bluetooth device in the configuration dialog. - Notice that with bluedevil 1.1.1 is shown in the applet instead of the device name for kde #277451 ( https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=277451) the upstream bug does not tell if the crash is happening on a suspend to ram/suspend to disk so we should try probably both & notice the crash does not happens anymore for kde #277878 ( https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=277878 ) maybe we could try to pair with a device using a static pin code (like a gps unit, but also some bt headphones) & notice that it's working correctly for Show the file size and the speed in the file transfer (in kio), well just notice that the transfer are correctly show in kio & for the last bug fixe i don't have any idea :) Ok, it looks like comment #3 has frightened all testers. So as QA team for now hasn't decided to check every upstream bug fix, let's concentrate on the absence of regressions. Comment #2 shows it's ok on i586, can someone test bluetooth devices on x86_64 with this update candidate ? We're late for this update. Now, if someone could also check that some of the bugs disappared, that would be even better. Tested on x86_64. Able to pair with phone, browse it and transfer files to and, after making the adapter discoverable, from the phone. It shows now the file size and progress which was one of the bugs fixed mentioned. There was no crash when suspending. I am unable to find any faults with this and so am going to validate the update. Advisory : ================= This package fixes some upstream bugs on KDE bugzilla such as #277665 (the alias of the adapter was not available in the applet), #277451 (a crash could occur after sleeping), #277878 (bluedevil was not pairing with some BT GPS units). The file size and the transfer speed are also now available during a file transfer. ================= SRPM: bluedevil-1.1.1-1.mga1.src.rpm Could somebody from sysadmin please push this update from core/updates_testing to core/updates.
