Description of problem:
dkms-nvidia claims
/lib/modules/4.14.4.../build or /lib/modules/4.14.4.../sources
can't install nvidia driver
no X


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kernel 4.14.4
dkms nvidia (cauldron july, the 14th 2018 at night +2.00)


How reproducible:
install M6 with all components and upgrade to cauldron


Steps to Reproduce:
1.install M6 with all components
2.upgrade to cauldron
3.restart to cauldron
4.have no X and only console
5.reboot to debian
6.try getting help with a technical list
7.submit a bug on bugs.mageia.org
8.(could be more bugs with the upgrade, not tested yet)

Pourquoi avec Mageia, une fois passé en Caldron (version développement), le système ne permet plus l'accès à xorg ?
Je veux dire, quelles pistes pour corriger ceci, sachant que j'en suis encore à chercher Xorg.conf...
J'avais exactement le même type de soucis avec Mandrake... 7.2? :D

Please try again to boot into Mageia, log in in text mode, become root and run:

  journalctl -ab > log.txt

and attach log.txt to this bug report
