Description Daniel Kjellin 2018-06-27 13:22:57 CEST
Description of problem:
After recent updates the NextCloud client did not start. Starting through console gave

"nextcloud: error while loading shared libraries: libQt5WebChannel.so.5:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

Installing the Lib64qt5webchannel5 package resolved the problem and NextCloud starts.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
2.3.2

How reproducible:
I have had this on one machine, my other machines had the Lib64qt5webchannel5 package already installed so could not verify. I would assume it is easily reproducible

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install nextcloud-client and ensure Lib64qt5webchannel5 is not installed on the machine
2. start nextcloud via console
3.

Nicolas, is this just a missing Requires or should our build system detect automatically QT5 libs requires?
Comment 4 Morgan Leijström 2018-07-09 11:41:57 CEST
NC client could also need a bugfix update to latest stable 2.3.3
Comment 5 Morgan Leijström 2018-07-10 09:49:16 CEST
NC client 2.5.0 is in testing upstream https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23290#c1
