None of the advanced hardware here but the new driver works fine with DisplayPort.
System: Host: difda Kernel: 4.14.34-desktop-1.mga6 x86_64
Graphics: Card: NVIDIA GM204 [GeForce GTX 970]
Resolution: 3840x2160@30.00hz
GLX Renderer: GeForce GTX 970/PCIe/SSE2
GLX Version: 4.6.0 NVIDIA 390.48
Ran glmark2, and stellarium reproduced the view out of my window. The Mate desktop is running OK, vlc video, firefox and thunderbird.CC:

System: Host: vega Kernel: 4.14.34-desktop-1.mga6 x86_64 (64 bit)
Graphics: Card-2: NVIDIA GK104 [GeForce GTX 770]
Resolution: 2560x1440, 1024x768
GLX Version: 4.6.0 NVIDIA 390.48
Mate desktop running smoothly and all graphical utilities. Ran glmark2.
None of my hardware uses nvidia-current, but all of it, as far as I know, uses ldetect.lst. If I were to update just that, would it be helpful here? And if I were to update it, how would I tell if it's actually still working? CC:
