Can one of you please fix this. The wrong Tussian forums link is re-used on http://www.mageia.org/ru/community/ (it directs to https://forums.mageia.org/en/viewforum.php?f=40 )

http://www.mageia.org/tr/community/ doesn't fetch the forum link from our forums, like for Russian, but is just still wrong.... could that be because of

Or should something be synced with the translation updates on http://gitweb.mageia.org/web/www/ ???

Yeah. Git is synched to apache. So translators have option to use their link. I try to avoid stepping in their toes as much as possible.

Yeah, that _is_ the correct way. For i18n team that is ;).

It's best for any l10n change to be done in Transifex first. Then we (almost exclusively Yuri) manually commit to git. Within 5 minutes change is automagicaly visible live on web page.
