Description of problem:

Little typos in "promisc" and "allmulti" options make this man page unintelligible when using the man command.

Thanks for your report and sorry for responding so late. We do not have a maintainer for net-tools at the moment, but new packagers are being trained, so I have good hopes we'll have one soon

@Marja: thanks for cc'ing me, I'll have a look at it when I have some time. For some obscure reason, all my mails containing "bugs" were considered as spam for about a month, and I just figured it out.

This is an upstream bug.

I sent a patch upstream using a fixed translation which dates back to 2004 but was never included in net-tools.
I don't have much hope that it will be added to net-tools, though, there must be a reason if it was never included since 2004.
