This is related to bug #1825, a backports request for frei0r-plugins following a pop-up on opening Openshot video editor requesting them.

They are being backported but Kdenlive also make use of them - Please see comment 18.

True, please open a new report for kdenlive, since the new proposed backporting
policy says all backported packages need testing (even if I don't see what
tests are needed when just a suggests on another package is added)."

I think this can be closed as bug 1825 was closed too and we will have this package available for mga 2.
