Description Morgan Leijström 2018-03-16 03:40:29 CET
Description of problem:
The program "bug" tries opening /dev/input/event2
- Does not seem correct it should try opening it, is it?
- It confuses the operator

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Mageia 6 installer, released; DrakX v17.88

(I know - should check if still valid this on cauldron installer)

How reproducible: Always - on this machine anyways

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start installing
2. Press Ctrl-Alt-F2
3. put in a FAT32 formatted USB stick
4. type "bug", enter
5. It asks where to put the file, choose the new stick
It responds:
 putting file report.bug on sdb1
Failed to open /dev/input/event2 (Operation not permitted)

And it performs OK

While at it i suggest to improve

"putting file report.bug on sdb1"

to:

" Putting file report.bug on sdb1... - wait for cursor to return "

Because a big log on slow USB takes many seconds... and first i thought it got stuck on that "operation not permitted"...
