Probably because you have a mixed set of different versions of evolution pkgs.

Please update all to same and latest version to see if it fixes the issue.

@ Robert

please report whether the problem is fixed after updating evolution-3.26.5-1.mga7 to evolution-3.27.91-1.mga7

Assigning to the gnome maintainer(s) anyway, it may be possible to prevent getting such a mixed set of evolution packages.

I updated Evolution much later than e-d-s. Usually that's ok (doesn't harm). This might also be gnome-online-accounts. I'll upgrade a few more packages, hopefully it's one of these.

Unfortunately, it's not fixed - I now get the authentication diaog to login to Google, but it works only once - when I close Evolution and reopen it - i have to authenticate once again - I also get the following error: Failed to authenticate: Data source “robert.l.fox@gmail.com” does not support OAuth 2.0 authentication

I deleted the mail account and reconfigured - it seem to work now without issue! Thx
