single click desktop terminal launch creates two terminal launches

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible: always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. xfce4-settings-manager->Desktop->Icons->[x] Single click
2. create a desktop launcher to launch a terminal. I use xterm.
3. Note a single click on the desktop shortcut/launcher will launch two terminals. One exactly on top of the other.

I can confirm this bug.

Fully updated Cauldron 64b vbox VM.

I've enabled single click, created a launcher on the desktop (xfce terminal).
2 terminal windows appear with a single click, in my case not on top of each other.
