Description Samuel Verschelde 2011-07-24 14:24:31 CEST
stepmania-3.9-14.1.mga1, stepmania-data-3.9-7.1.mga1 and stepmania-stepmix1-1-6.1.mga1 are updates candidates for Mageia 1.

stepmania and stepmania-data are the engine and the data, and stepmania suggests stepmania-stepmix1 which is a set on songs, so that you don't start with an empty song list.

It is a Dance Dance Revolution clone, but can be played even without a dance platform. If someone could test with one it would be great, but I'll still consider the testing OK without.

Advisory :
This update adds the stepmania dancing game which was present in Mandriva 2010.2 but missing in Mageia 1.

Adding shikamaru in CC just in case he can test with the dance platform.

OK on x86_64.

For me there is no sound when started from the menu, but OK when started from terminal.

Changed menu item from 'soundwrapper /usr/games/stepmania' to remove the soundwrapper and then it works OK
Running on x86_64 with pulseaudio

Tested on i586, with no mat sadly but what an addictive game!

Again it worked from terminal but not the menu. Once soundwrapper was removed from the menu item it worked fine.

It could do with that removing from the menu.

Advisory :
