Description AngryPenguin 2018-02-10 00:48:52 CET
Description of problem:

Hi. When I try install lazarus I get error:

[root@localhost x]# LC_ALL=C urpmi lazarus
The following packages can't be installed because they depend on packages
that are older than the installed ones:
lib64pcre-devel-8.40-2.mga6
lib64glib2.0-devel-2.52.2-2.mga6
lib64gdk_pixbuf2.0-devel-2.36.10-1.mga6
lazarus-1.2.4-6.mga6
Continue installation anyway? (Y/n) y
While some packages may have been installed, there were failures.

How reproducible:

Just try install lazarus for x64. urpmi lazarus and see that it depend on older packages.

Can anyone fix it?

You can fix it. Your core/updates repository got disabled. Fix it by running edit-urpm-sources.pl (as root). It seems that this mysteriously happens to some people sometimes (especially when there are mirror issues). Because your updates media is disabled, it can't install pcre-devel and gdk_pixbuf2.0-devel (both of which have newer versions in updates).
