It's a pity you already found a workaround and continued, so you can no longer reproduce this issue... or did you buy two such disks? ;-)

* switch to tty2 when getting the error
* insert a USB key
* type

* attach report.bug that was written to the USB key to this bug report
It would also be nice to know whether diskdrake in an installed system or on a Live iso have similar problems.Source RPM:
