As described.  When the first stage 2 display appears, X is absolutely unresponsive.  Please refer to bug#21886 for the timeline.  This was not the case the last time a bug#21886 confirmer tested.

Feb 9 2018 Mageia-Cauldron-netinstall-nonfree-x86_64.iso is installing rpms as I type this.
