n54 This package is in core/updates_testing and tainted/updates_testing. The difference is that libfaad and AAC support is in tainted. If it's ready for qa testing, please change the version to 1, and assign it to qa-bugs@ml.mageia.org CC:

1 On my i586 system, with qmmp and qmmp-plugins installed, I enabled both of the visualizations, analyer and project-m. While playing a song, I switched the project-m visualization to full screen, and then back to normal mode, at which point my system locked up, requiring using the reset key. Alt+ctrl+sysreq, rseisub did not work. After restarting, opening qmmp (without any music playing), the ayatem locked up again. Thank you, I will have a look and try to reproduce. I can consistently recreate it, but am having trouble getting any useful information. There's nothing in .xsession-errors, Xorg.0.log, or syslog related to the lockup. If I run strace with the output to a file, it's clear after the restart that the file doesn't have the last calls. If I run it under strace with the output being displayed in a konsole, the last calls displayed when it locks up are projectM loading it's presets, so I suspect it's a problem in projectM rather then in qmmp. Testing x86_64. I'm not able to reproduce the problem Dave is experiencing. One thing I noticed was that the tools menu was empty despite having various plugins enabled. I'm not sure what is supposed to be in there. Other than that everything seems fine. Assigning Kamil until this is ready for QA again. Please reassign QA when you have had a chance to look at this. Thanks! CC:

qa-bugs There is qmmp 0.5.4 in Mga2 and 0.6.0 in Cauldron. So let's try with qmmp 0.5.4 for Mga1. OK, there is qmmp 0.5.4 for Mga1. There are two version core and tainted. The only difference is that, there is one extra plug-in in tainted.

qa-bugs This seems to search the current directory for plugins when it's started. It gives three info lines for each file it finds.. Output: Plugin verification data mismatch in '/home/claire/depcheck' General: The file '/home/claire/depcheck' is not a valid Qt plugin. Visual: The file '/home/claire/depcheck' is not a valid Qt plugin. Is this intended behaviour Kamil or should it be searching a specific directory? It does so again when the file dialogue is opened to add a track FileDialog: The file '/home/claire/depcheck' is not a valid Qt plugin. QtFileDialogFactory::create() and again when you've chosen one PlaylistParser: The file '/home/claire/depcheck' is not a valid Qt plugin. It doesn't do so once qmmp-plugins is installed. Should that be a require? $ qmmp MainWindow: detected wm: Openbox Output: plugin loaded - libalsa.so Output: plugin loaded - libnull.so Output: plugin loaded - libpulseaudio.so OutputALSA: setupMixer() OutputALSA: setupMixer() success General: plugin loaded - libcovermanager.so General: plugin loaded - libfileops.so General: plugin loaded - libhotkey.so General: plugin loaded - libkdenotify.so General: plugin loaded - liblyrics.so General: plugin loaded - libmpris.so General: plugin loaded - libnotifier.so General: plugin loaded - libscrobbler.so General: plugin loaded - libstatusicon.so General: plugin loaded - libudisks.so Skin: using :/default Skin: cannot find region.txt. Visualisations both OK. Once the plugins are installed it is fine, I think qmmp-plugins should probably have a suggest/require added though. tested x86_64 mga1, sorry I forgot to say. Thank you(In reply to comment #15) > tested x86_64 mga1, sorry I forgot to say. Thank you. I will have a look at this plug-in problem. Hi Kamil Assigning to you for you to decide on any suggest/require on the plugins. Please reassign to QA when you've had a chance to look. QA are still in CC so that if you need anything, we can respond. Thanks! Status:
